This website is intended to provide a valuable resource for everyone in the Greater St. Louis Area who is (or wants to become) involved in resolving our children’s “nature deficit disorder” (a phrase coined by Richard Louv in his book Last Child in the Woods). Parents, teachers, environmental conservationists, health professionals, horticulturalists, professional architects / engineers, nature (ecology) educators, government agencies, business leaders, philanthropists, as well as the print and broadcast media ALL have a role.
