A Team from Gateway Children’s Nature Connection attended the World Forum Foundation’s Nature Action Collaborative for Children’s (NACC) Action Forum for Connecting Children With Nature at Arbor Day Farm in Nebraska in Late October 2010.  At this event, 270 people from 32 countries gathered for 3 days to learn about and discuss better ways to reconnect children (AND their families) with nature.  Many great ideas were brought back to Gateway CNC from this Forum, but one of the most exciting new “tools” made available by NACC for use by families, educators, and children-in-nature professionals is an ENVIRONMENTAL ACTION KIT.
